Artist Bio
Gopali grew up in a suburb of Sydney Australia, the youngest daughter in a family of 6 children. She always had a love for drawing and creating and began training to become a Signwriter for a Major Department Store chain at the age of 16. This held her interest until at the age of 20, she decided to travel around Australia to learn more about her country and make some big decisions about her future.
She discovered a Spiritual philosophy and way of life that enabled her to use her talents voluntarily as an Artist and Cook for a Charity Organisation for almost 40 years. During this time she married, had three children, spent many years living in India and also learnt one of the Classical Indian Dance styles. She performed at many different events in Australia and India and eventually taught this art form to others in her Community.
Deeply inspired by the Natural World, Gopali also enjoys growing food and flowers, the Ocean, Bushwalking and Cycling. These all provide ideas and inspiration for her Art work. She now has three Grandchildren that she is very involved with and she hopes to write and Illustrate a Series of Childrens books in the near future. Gopali describes her Art as colourful, thought provoking, positive good vibes that uplift the spirit and make your day brighter. It is a form of self expression and a way to share themes that she feels are important for the future of humanity on this planet.
Reviews
Gopali is a very creatively inclined person. In the 1990s she painted a number of 2 metre x 2 metre backdrops for our temple setting. These backdrops are still adorning the alter with their beauty after thirty years.

Gopali is an amazingly talented Artist. With a few small tubes of paint, she was able to paint a wonderful scene on my large, blank wall and turn it into a feature wall. She works very efficiently and in no time at all, had the most intricate details painted perfectly. The dimensions, colours and expressions are manifest like magic flowing from her hand. She didnt make even the smallest mess or disruption to the area and worked with the most pleasant and uplifted consciousness. I am deeply impressed with her experience and skill.

I first came across Gopalis work in a house in Murwillumbah. My heart was immediately drawn to that stunning painting, and it left a lasting impression on me. I always thought that Iād love to have a painting by her for my own home. I was extremely grateful to her when she took the time to beautifully paint the walls of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre in Kolkata, India. She transformed the space with a traditional old Jaipur style and adorned the front entrance wall with a mesmerising and elegant peacock painting.
Her hardwork, sincerity and the dedicated way she approaches her craft, is deeply inspiring and leaves a timeless impact on anyone who experiences her work.
